When i go to websites,there's sometimes videos but i can't view them. I go to youtube & that works. I was looking at haircuts for my hair nd the slide show didn't come up. for my history class i was giving an overhead presentation using my laptop's powerpoint slides.... everything was going well until suddenly a porn website popped up and filled the whole screen on the overhead.. the website had a picture showing naked man and woman doing it with each other.... everyone in the classroom was like wtf..... there was a weird silence while i was trying so hard to come out of the website.. whats really fucked up was that every time i pressed X, several new porn websites popped up.. i was so embarrassed..... when i had no more pop ups, everyone was laughing so hard without making any sound.... the teacher looked so mad and told me to go back to my seat without finishing my presentation.... he told me to come see him after school but i didnt.. now im scared to go to school on monday. help.. more

i have a global history project to do. i had to chose a historical figure and an event/events and create a monologue of what that historical figure would think of the event/events. for my project, i chose Genghis Khan and the War on Terror. i'm having trouble trying to find something to base my monologue on so it will flow good and all. my only idea is to make a slide show of pictures depicting the WOT and having Genghis do a sort of commentary stating his opinions and such. i cant think of anything else! any other ideas are appreciated :) more

Resolved Question: He broke all his promises and cheated...Should I take him back?

My boyfriend and i been together for 5 months. 4 months of the relationship has been long distance. At the end of the fourth month he moved to Florida to be with me and we moved in together. Recently, by goin through his instant messenger history I found out that also at the end of the four months before he moved he had a fling with his ex. Evidently he left a hickey on her neck and both didn't know how it happened, the hickey that is. It happened a month ago and I had to find out on my own and when I confronted him he denied it. I had to show him the evidence for him to confess. Even so, he told me it was jus a playful bite, i had to badger him after paying closely attention to the convo on the net to read between the lines and figure out that it had to be a heavy make out session. But there is still doubt in my mind that maybe they had sex. He says it was a mistake, he loves me, he wouldn't have moved here if he didn't. But why wouldn't he confess to me sooner. I love him I do, But I am just so hurt by his infedelity. I don't know if this is one of those things that you let slide because he's not there with her he's here with me. What do I do? more

Resolved Question: Is someone/thing attacking me in my sleep or am I self harming?

I've had a history of self harming because of severe depression, and night after night for almost a week I've been waking up screaming (I suffer night traumas), and I've been waking with deep scratches and cuts pm the insides of my wrists and had several on my cheek. I don't have long nails, I cut them most days because I play the bass and keep them short, and moved my bed so it's near no walls. I don't know what it is. I showed it to my dad, and he said it's from my friendship braclet being too tight- what sounds immpossible seeing as it slides off all the time. What is it? A few days ago in History, my teacher made a powerpoint and showed it to us. I did look it up, and the pictures DO say Mikhail Kalinin but I do want a second opinion from here. Hey, I have to do a Power Point for European History. In it, I have to set a slide show of pics about any event from 1815 to the 1990's (though it has to pertain to Europe) and then have a song in the background to go with it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what event I should do, and which song could go with it? I was thinking about either using "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" by U2 or "For What It's Worth" by Buf. Resolved Question: Samsung Rant Sucks!!!?

Or is it just me??? I just replaced my Rumor because it was upgrade time, and I really love the slide out QWERTY board, so the Rant it was. Its only 2 weeks in and I can't believe the things that are wrong with this phone. First, why the heck can't you personalize text ringers for each person this I find really dumb for today's technology! Second, where the heck is the OUTBOX for messaging? And, NO it is not under the messaging history (convo). It doesn't show up there. If I am out of range of service and try to send a message it says "Saving to Outbox", well hellllllllllo?? Where the heck is it!? Third, the dang thing freezes up and you can't do anything or even use your slider to turn on the main screen. What a pain in the butt. Fourth, 3rd party ring tones are a bit tricky, ok, I admit no a huge deal but irritating in itself. Fifth, I don't like how when you go to answer a text the slightest movement of your hand/finger it calls the person! Frustrating. I'm sure I'm forgetting something here! So....is the Rumor 2 any better than the Rant or even the Rumor 1? I've heard two stories, does the Rumor 2 in deed have a video recorder? And if it does, can you send video via messaging? O.K. I've heard how the end of the world will be in so many ways some are crazy & some kinda make sense. The end may not come in our life time but from what I have understood. 1. At the center of our galaxy of course called the milkyway(not the candy) there is a supermassive black hole. The black hole is what keeps our galaxy together like a hurricane. If the black hole is sucking every thing around it inside itself does that mean sooner or later our solar system including our planet earth will be pulled in it meaning the black hole at the center of our galaxy will consume our entire galaxy someday or night. 2. There is another galaxy called the andromita galaxy ( not the sci-fi T.V. show) on it's way headed straight to our milkyway. It's said that the andrmomita galaxy is alot (quote alot) bigger than our own. When the two galaxies collide it's going to be seriouly nasty. We could get thrown into the pitch black deep space or we could get thrown with the force of the collition of the andromita galaxy straight into one if not both black holes in both galaxies. 3. It's said that there is a 10'th palnet called NIBIRU (also named PLANET X). This planet is supposingly to be larger than jupiter. It's the color of blood red. Now it will not hit us but it supposed to travel between our planet earth & the sun. Because of the stronger gravatational pull of NIBIRU (PLANET X) It will cause a lot of natural disasters we go through here to be stronger & more freqently. We all will see it in the sky supposingly in a few years.then it'll pass. This happens onnce every 1,000 years. I'm not quite finished. It's said that in the bible god threw the angels who came down to the earth to have sex with human women who had long hair got pregnant by them & there children (which I assume to be lovingly called the GIANT NEPHILIM onto this planet NIBIRU (PLANET X). These children of the angels & human women grew to be evil giants that ate everything including humans. When our solar system bobs on the level of the blackholes pulling power (not blowing) our planet's crust will pull & slide. If the tire on your car has no air & it's still on it's wheel rim you can pretty much slide it. Voting Question: Drugged or just extremely intoxicated?

This last weekend, I went to a bar at 10pm. Friends didn't show up until 10:30pm. We had our first drink after that which I drank much slower than everyone else. We had a shot, which I also drank much slower. Then we danced pretty much the entire time. I hadn't eaten since 5pm, so I was drinking slow and the drinks were strong. I maybe had a few more drinks and definitely got myself water at one point. Some guys kept asking for my number even though I told them I had a boyfriend. One of them bought me a drink which I reluctanly drank. I remember dancing and then suddenly feeling very high (not a marijuana high). After that is history. I remember looking for a place to sit down, then I remember my friends trying to carry me out of the bar. I don't remember a whole lot after that other than things spinning, feeling like one side of my head hurt, I threw up, didn't know where I was, couldn't make sense of anything, started passing out, felt very depressed, things people were saying didn't make sense, felt like my soul was leaving my body, then I woke up the next morning in my house in different clothes. I didn't remember coming home until my friend told me they had got me a cab. Now that I'm remembering things, I remember passing out in the cab and waking up to him yelling at me. I didn't comprehend what the numbers were and gave him a large sum of money. It took all of my energy to reach into my pocket and take out money, not to mention a lot of force to open the cab's sliding door. It was that feeling like being on a muscle relaxer. My friends all act like I was just super drunk, but I know myself and this seems odd. I'm not saying that I haven't had an alcohol induced blackout before, but this situation has disturbed and embarrassed me beyond belief. I just don't know how I went out to have a "nice" evening turned into an almost nightmarish reality. From now on I think I'm going to stop drinking at bars. All I want to know is if any of you've had a similar experience and what are the chances I may have been drugged? more

So, I have transference/projection towards my school counsellor for more than a year now. It hasn't been dealt with. The thing is this - She has my History notes which I wrote in booklets for my IGCSE (Cambridge exam) last year. It happened once. An as fond as I am of Barack Obama (I am a democrat), "bailing out" just makes the situation worse by borrowing what we don't have. This will inevitably come back to bite us later when we have to pay off the bailout. When we can't pay back the debts, what's going to stop war? Ballistics speak much louder than cold hard cash in my opinion. I feel as if though it's going to take some catastrophic meltdown for things to repair itself. Borrowing more is going to dig the whole deeper, but what do I know? Our lending here clearly got screwed as shown by the real estate failure which hit the banks. If we're doing this in our own country, imagine what it could scale to on a national level, when we take what we don't have? That's going to have to fix itself too. I see it being possible to fix the issue domestically through legislation, but seriously, internationally, I don't see what resolutions will take place. Or the debt will grow so large some action will be necessary. more

Man, I just started watching Sliders (Since I can get it on Itunes and the Xbox Marketplace). I've forgotten how good this show was. Seriously its like each episode is almost like a movie. A great plot, a great moral to the story. The charters are great. I love the alternative histories, the different social nightmares...All the Charters are great, Quin, Rembrandt, the Professor and of course Wade. Makes me want to go Sliding, and join them on there adventures. Is there anything currently being made thats as good as quality and has a story like sliders? In my 9th grade history class everyone was to research a country in Africa and a current situation going on in that country. I chose Mozambique and malnutrition. I wrote and essay about it but now i have to think of a "very creative" way to present the information to my class. it has to be AT LEAST 5 mins. so far I'm doing a 2 min slide show of children who are malnourished. Does anybody have any other ideas? more

the pastor's wife giving a demostration about christ in the history art and she gave a slide show of different art in culture about Christ. The school function was "family art night" and all the kids were there. kindergarden to 7th grade. It boggles my mind to attend things like this. It's 7:30 at night on a wednesday and so many families and parents are sitting through this for 45 minutes with kids bouncing in their seats. I'm just confused why parents enjoy activities like this and go through so much time and effort just to go. If i wanted to look up christian art, i would have done so on my own time and effort. more
